The Subcommittee for Long-Term Outcomes of High-Risk Babies aims to better understand and improve the outcomes for children, and their families, cared for in Australian and New Zealand neonatal nurseries in the infant period and beyond.

Main Focus:

Our main focus is on those who have experienced neonatal medical conditions and those with conditions presumed to have their origins in early life.

Key Objectives:

Our key objectives are to provide a multi-disciplinary forum to facilitate knowledge transfer and collaboration between clinicians, researchers, consumers, and other stakeholders, and to generate policy-relevant information to guide long-term follow-up and early intervention of infants at increased risk of developmental needs and communicate this to relevant audiences.
